Thomas Tower Main Entrance Door

Just a quick post to confirm that the main entrance door to Thomas Tower is finally going to be replaced. Despite many complaints to the previous Development Manager Sean, only poor attempts at repair were made after the door became damaged some 18 months ago. New Dev. Manager Gerald though, has agreed that the door needs complete replacement. It is a custom made door and the parts are now on order (4 to 6 week lead time). I will update this thread as soon as we have an installation date. - Mark.

Dev. Manager Gerald has been in touch with some bad news. Further to the above, attempts were made this past Saturday to fit the new door but a problem prevented this: The replacement door was made to open inwards instead of the necessary outwards. This means we are back to square one with a further 6 to 8 weeks required to construct a second replacement, meaning the estimated fitting date will be around the end of November.
